I liked this pod cast more then the others, the "argument" like part about the apple products between Dave and Iyaz were interesting :P.

Heh... I was just being a nutjob (comes easy). Gotta mix it up once in a while!

Very nice, as usual.

Marco: Great job on the ATI reviews. Just one favor to ask: In the future can you guys also run the Heaven demo in OpenGL mode?

Most of ATI and Nvidia's OpenGL code is shared between the Windows and Linux drivers, so the demo performs almost identically on both operating systems. The Windows OpenGL numbers would give us other OS users a good idea of how the cards will perform on Linux.

Thanks!

@3vil - I won't be able to squeeze OpenGL Unigine testing into the next review I have going up in a few days, but sure, I'll get that into future articles for ya.

And for everyone else, I apologize for the nasal, Barry White impression. I'm fighting off a bad cold!

Understood, and "Thanks!" Marco.

lol at the Barry White comment. There was a guy sick at work last week and that's what we said about him too.

I'm definitely going to have to read-up on the 5550 and 5570!

Lets see the 6 series cards now that NVIDIA's whacking them around with their new offerings!

C'mon ATI, I'm gonna actually buy before too long, and I want to know what you have up your sleeves!

(They'll release them a week after I buy the two GTX460's, just wait and see)
