Chillin' Out With The HH Community Sweepstakes!

It's that time again folks! In conjunction with our friends at OCZ, Intel, WD, Gigabyte, and Xigmatek, we have assembled another <HOT> rig to give away this month! We're announcing a new sweepstakes where you could win a full Intel Core i7-870-based system, complete with a Radeon HD 6870 graphics card, some super-fast DDR3 RAM, an OCZ SSD, and a speedy Western Digital hard drive. With that kind of power at the heart of this rig, in a windowed case, this machine will definitely be a head turner, and it could be all yours!

As usual, we’ll be giving away this rig away to a randomly selected contributor to our on-line forum, news and reviews discussion systems. The complete break-down of components in the system includes:

Processor: Intel Core i7-870

Graphics: XFX Radeon HD 6870

Case: Xigmatek Utgard

PSU: PC Power and Cooling Silencer 760W

Memory: 4GB OCZ DDR3

Motherboard: Gigabyte P55

Hard Drive: WD Velociraptor 600GB

SSD: OCZ Vertex 2 120GB

Optical Drive: SATA DVD-R / RW

Input: Thermaltake Challenger Pro

To be entered into the sweepstakes, you’ve got to be a registered, active member of our forum and a resident of the United States or Canada (apologies to the rest of the world). If you’re not already a member, you can sign up quickly and easily (and for free), right here.

From this point forward, we’ll be monitoring discussions on the site and will be selecting a winner based on community involvement and contribution. To increase your chances of being a winner, sign up for our HotHardware RSS News Alerts as well, and we'll toss your name into the mix for double credit! In addition, we’re going to be weighting entries based on the quality of contribution, using our comment system’s integrated voting button (those 'Thumbs Up' and 'Thumbs Down' buttons you see in the comments on the news page).  So if the community likes your stuff, so will the contest gods!

The sweepstakes will run through February 28, 2011 and we will announce the winner shortly thereafter.

This is a great opportunity for to you to win a custom, powerful new system. Now go make some new friends in the HotHardware community and get in the running! Good Luck!

if the winner selection is based off content generation, and participation, its a contest. It cant legally be called a sweepstakes if anything is awarded in any manner other than completely random and all entries are equal. At least in california.

No.....however, I see no reason to not call it by a term that most accurately describes what it is. I don't think 'contest' quite says it either, as forum contribution is such an ambiguous thing to judge. I think 'give away' is the best description of what HH are doing here. So..in agreement with free jet here:

The HH-dot-Commune Winter Chillax-a-thon Give Away - would be the most apt title

mmm. you know, I actually do care. It's the lawyer in me, but when it comes to shifty business, the mirk is always in the method. I know this is the internet, and I expect to be told to "chillax dude" . But I like the law. Not its restrictive nature, but knowing where the line is drawn. Either to fight or follow, I like knowing what that line is. And there is such discomfort in not at least pointing out where a line is missing. And it is not just for my sake. For instance: not having a clearly defined set of rules for promotions such as this makes it more difficult for participants to even know if they are eligible. And what kind of tax repercussions they might incur. The net may still be the wild west, but its effects on meatworld are still real.

I'm with Analog on this. It makes a difference in how you approach it. Is it limited to your contributions this month or is it your ongoing contributions? If you won once can you win again? Does it affect chances at all? I'm not saying that it should be one way or another, just that it should be clarified.

I think its awesome that HH does these promotions, and would hope this criticism is taken as constructive rather than bitchin' about what is essentially a gift to their community.

Gents, please... really.  A free full custom gaming rig giveaway and you're questioning it?  The rules are simple here for a reason. Ongoing contribution to the site not only helps you in this contest but if you don't win the current one, there is always a member contribution component to the next one.  We set them up that way for a reason.  We want you to make this YOUR place.

Xigmatek did a couple of smart things with this contest.

1. Due to the Sandy Bridge Fiasco, they decided to go with Lynnfield.

2. No facebook or twitter necessary for the contest.

Even thought it's a Lynnfield, I think many would not be disappointed with this system. After all, everyone likes free stuff that does not require any type of monetary compensation. Only your time and dedication is needed. :)

realneil 3 years ago
Even though it's a Lynnfield, I think many would not be disappointed with this system.
I have three Lynnfield systems (two i7's and a i5) and they all totally annihilate any game I've played on them. The i5-750 runs at 3,800MHz., one of the i7-870's clocks at 3,830MHz., and the last i7 runs at 3,900MHz. They boot up incredibly fast too.

They all do Video Encoding at crazy-fast speeds. (the i7's do it a little faster though)

They are able to "Jump Tall Buildings With A Single Bound",......................er ah, maybe I've been seeing too many Superman re-runs,...................

My point is that the P55 platform delivers an awesome level of performance at a price point that looks better every day. The X58 platform has triple-channel memory capabilities and much more PCI-E bandwidth, but I can certainly testify that the P55 platform's PCI-E bandwidth is entirely sufficient for anything you need to get done with any single video card installed, and it's dual channel memory seems to work fine for me too. Turbo core has a little more range on the P55 platform too.

So yeah,......nobody will be disappointed if they win this system.
Jump tall buildings?? Hmm, for some reason, re-runs of matrix come to mind... not superman... Even hulk.... superman can just fly
Coolice: The original Superman could only leap tall buildings with a single bound, not fly.

Only us old farts know about this. Confused

"when Superman was first created he did not fly! He was able to leap great distances. The power of flight was added to him at a later date. That's why early mentions of Superman have him able to leap tall buildings".

Sourced from the Wikipedia article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superman) on Superman: "Superman's powers also developed during the 1940s, including vast increases in strength and acquiring the ability to fly — the earliest comics depict Superman able to leap only an eighth of a mile at a time."

He was also more powerful than a locomotive and faster than a speeding bullet. Smile

A young naive uneducated guy like me only knows the version of superman who flies and is weakened by kryptonite!

HH also has their right to conduct a contest in the way they want. This is not the first contest that is based on contributions on the web, MANY are like that...and many are completely random out of the hat type as well.

So just be cool, contribute, and good luck.  That is how the last contest was handled, and I assume previous and future ones were/will be similar.

Pretty high if you consider the number of people entering.  Your odds are a few hundred to 1, at a high level, then if you consider how many folks are actually contributing versus just dropping in for their first entry, the odds get even better; a heck of a lot better than the lottery that's for sure!  Smile

Sheesh...I take a few days to setup my SSD, get everything back to normal and there's 5 pages of people winning my computer.

I'll have to find the ultimate door holder this time around.

Anyway, when I do a normal Windows 7 install it takes the better part of half an hour.  This time around I decided to create a bootable flash drive, copy over the Windows 7 files and do it that way.  30 minutes when down to 9!

I won't be doing another OS install from a CD/DVD unless the motherboard doesn't support booting from a flash drive.

While questioning everything would be superfluous, ignoring the question begged by implications that are not reasonable inferred is a resolution of ignorance.Where inquiry is unwelcome, it is most necessary.

I don't think the the contest/giveaway/raffle/sweepstakes/drawing/lottery/competition etc was "questioned" as I believe you mean it. I think its a reasonable discussion of its ambiguity, which is often an accompaniment to "simple". So don't misunderstand. I am not implying that HotHardware is doing anything other than offering a legitimate chance to everyone who participates to acquire this luxurious beast of a machine. I am however making the point that if someone where to ask me, I could not conclusively explain how the winner would be decided.

I do enjoy this site. While I rarely feel I have something to contribute, the fact that most content here is original and not a mostly lifted off another site, which also lifted is a HUGE plus over those Gawker folk.

That was a detail response there, analog.  Inquiry is fine.  In short, the  judges are looking for the best contributor to the site and we will be picking that person based on their efforts in the community; and not just the number of contributions but the quality as well.  Hope this helps.

I understood this. I see nothing wrong with the method of your giveaway and think HH are awesome for having this.

It's just in my somewhat anal retentive nature to want the contest to be properly descriptive in it's title, and to actually consider discussing this in the forum to be a contribution.

A really awesome high quality contribution. ;P

I knew these weren't "randomly selected".  Could you take that out of the contest announcements and list the judges' names?
Good catch, eunoia.  That was a copy/paste typo from a previous contest.  I removed the word random and the judges are me and Marco.

rapid1 3 years ago

That is a pretty good break down analogmonster. I actually think the contest's on HH are great. The machines in general are very nice, and Dave/Marco make sure they are quality builds. In contest's like this exact one Marco takes the time to build it himself. I have noticed on thing with the contests, and it seems to be the same always. We have a good number of new user's. For some reason, and I don't exactly know why the good ones (new members) always seem to stay.

That in the long run has enhanced this community considerably. In general those who stay around are not trolls, and bring something to the table. This forum as well just continually at least for me seems to be the best of it's kind. I am not trying to butter anything up for any points here, but HH just is one of my favorite tech knowledge sites. Even if the same content or device is previewed else where. The team input as well as that put in by members of the site seems more valid as well as honest here.

I do find it somewhat odd as I mentioned that it always seem the good ones stick around. I also find it to be a positive aspect of HH as well as the bonus of these awesome contest's HH has. We have a vibrant forum with a lot of knowledgeable individuals who have no issue with helping others who need it. We also have valid discussion over the positives as well as negatives of many things, which it would seem to me to be a main point of a forum like this one.

OSunday 3 years ago

A WD velociraptor and an SSD?! Damn this baby is gonna pack a punch in terms of speed

and not to shoddy on the other components either if I might say:)

So HotHardware, let me get this straight,

This is a contest where the winner will be decided upon who has been contributing the most knowledgeable, interesting, entertaining comments across the HotHardware's blog articles, based on the "Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down" voting system?

rapid1 3 years ago

I don't think the Thumbs up/Thumbs down system does it O Sunday. Of course Dave or Marco would decide that, but I think the that system will to some degree influence it maybe. The final decision is made by Dave and Marco with that as maybe a degree of the decision. The problem I think with the thumbs up and down rating system is that it can be manipulated rather easily.

Of course I am also just commenting on this, and any real answer from be from Dave and Marco alone. So Dave and Marco?

It doesn't say how fast the ram is.

But i want it anyways.

analogmonster 3 years ago

Blazer 3 years ago

I don't think I will win it, but if I did, then I would just take it apart and use the graphics card, HD, SSD, and perhaps the memory in my new i7 build. And maybe the case as well, (if it looks better than my Antec P120W).

And that would be a shame because of the build time and quality that Dave and Marco put into these.

It is to bad because I just finished building my upgraded system about two weeks ago. Now all I need is a new graphics card and SSD I will be all set.

My updated rig: Gigabyte X58A-UD5, i7, 6gig G.SKILL PI Series, still the same 4 hard drives (1 tb raid 10), and the same graphics (2 R4870's) Powered by Silverstone Strider 850W, and cooled by a Corsair H50 and a bunch of fans.

Nothing wrong with your rig at all Blazer.

Blazer 3 years ago

Thanx, but I need a new graphics card or 2 (dx11) and a SSD to make it perfect :)

I'm not sure I understand what the issue is.  Any replies in the forum or on the main site should be paginated after a number of responses. ??

rapid1 3 years ago

They are paginated now Dave, maybe it was just a server lag or something database wise with the comments yesterday, who know. It all looks fine today!

SammyHayabuza 3 years ago

I "think" I understand, but Im not having that problem, as I see nothing abnormal.(Using FireFox)

I only see as of this moment , for this Topic: 7 pages, as u can see in this pic.

So, in your browser , in same place where the arrows are pointing,  you are displaying 65 pages,Right? Example: ( 1,2,3,4,5,6,65) or at the bottom  Page 1  of  65 (130 Items)  which means that at the time before you posted, each page displayed 2 comment per page , which equal to 130 responses. Yeah I think that was the problem, Its probably a temporary glitch either by HH or your browser.

rapid1 3 years ago

Grats; Inspector (I assume your studies are in law???), we just finished watching Unstoppable, and I must say it was much better than I expected. Mind you I am not saying it is a mega academy award winner, but it was pretty good.

As far as this contest goes good luck to everyone who could use this beauty, I know I could (more of a need than a want, as we have a very active third computer user in my house now, and do not have enough PC's for it), but doubt I have any chance!

To Kiristo yeah the drive's in this beast are absolutely awesome, not that it is a slouch anywhere from what I can tell. I imagine with the SSD, and the Velociraptor it will be awesome to work with, the MB and PSU (two of my mega always components for a PC) are great, the GPU is also awesome, and with the CPU and GPU on this monster in that nice case it seems it will be a very solid piece of equipment, then add on top it will be built by master wirer Marco B, so you also have on of his master pieces for all to envy! :)

AKwyn 3 years ago

If the winner resides elsewhere than the US, whatever customs duties, taxes etc are levied will be the responsibility of the winner.  We will however CLEARLY mark it as "gift" and "no retail value" if the grand prize is shipped across borders.  The reality is of course, there is no resale value here and it really is a gift, in the very real sense of the word.  So there really should be no sales/duty taxes to be assessed by all rights.

And the sun began to slowly fade on the Chillin' Out With The HH Community Sweepstakes! The champion would be determined now in less than a week's time, the people in the HH kingdom were also growing wrestles, hoping that there actions up to this point had been adequate.

The two king's, King Dave and King Marco slowly judged the crowd, new comers were still straggling in from the outskirts of the kingdom. They to wondered who would be the champion as although several were visible in the contests standing up to this point, none had as of yet shown to be the victor!

Oh profoundly wise Rapid1, please forgive this lowly knave. For in as much as I desire to leave behind the drudgery of peasantry, to rise above the thralldom of the masses, alas I must confess to losing my way. Too long did I gaze upon those obsidian walls, too long did I ponder the power of the core, and in the end became blinded by the radiance of it all. So driven by desire, I cast all caution to the wind and asked for that which is not given. Have pity, and know I will strive to stray no more.

OK several people asked about my accident, being in a coma etc, and what all happened. I wrote it all and of course the site reset just before I posted two days ago.

Well I was out at a club, and had had a bit to much to drink ( I have been told this is probably then only reason I did survive) on June 9th 1993. The club told me I had to leave my car, and they would get me a cab ride home. Well the cab driver got off at the wrong ramp at my exit. So I had to get out and walk across the bridge on the access road ramp which I did.

As I was walking across the bridge a car came around the exit, and was riding on the sidewalk that I was walking on, it was a blue Lincoln continental. I do not know if he had been drinking as well though I think so because he did call an ambulance from a pay phone gave no name and proceeded to fastidiously disappear.

I cannot know truly (if he was also drunk) because I personally had done the same thing many times when crossing the bridge while driving. There was at that time (they put one up very shortly following my accident) no guard wall between the bridge roadway, and the sidewalk itself. The sidewalk itself was also only raised about an inch from the roadway. So it was very common when coming around the curve to go up on the sidewalk without even knowing you had done so.

Anyway I fell 39 feet onto highway 85 north from Shallowford road bridge. I have been told that if I was not inebriated I would have died. I broke my right rib which proceeded to puncture my lung, I shattered my right elbow and my left wrist (in three places so it is now fused), and suffered nerve damage which made me deaf in my right ear completely my left is 30% affected. The worst injury was a Frontal lobe hematoma (blood clot) in my brain.

Luckily a lawyer in a BMW (with active fog lights) did not run over me approximately 45 seconds after I hit the road. He blocked my body with his car, and turned on his hazard lights, and then proceeded to call the hospital. Shallowford hospital (now Shallowford medical center or professional center I think). The ambulance arrived 9 minutes after the call was placed.

I had lost 9 quarts of blood was not breathing and was pronounced DOA at that time. The ambulance topped off my tank with some type O, and put me on a respirator after temporarily patching my bleeding injuries. I was delivered to the hospital where my head was rested upon some ice to reduce the swelling, and was in a coma for a month and a half. I also came to directly following arriving at the hospital and tried to kick a doctors butt then went directly back into a coma.

Either way my father passed away on may 29th a year prior which is important because I "spoke with him" while in a coma. This was just before I finally came to finding little brother standing beside my bed, I told him my "father told me he loved me and missed me, but that I needed to go home because everyone was waiting on me". So take that as you will!

Either way when I awoke the nerve damage had also paralyzed my left vocal cord, and I could not eat so I had to eat intravenously, I was in inpatient rehab at Roosevelt Warm Springs for 3.5 more months, then outpatient at St. Josephs and North Fulton hospital's for approximately nine months more. That is basically what happened to me, take from it what you will!

The one thing I learned is that the only thing in your life you truly control exists only in the current day. You cannot change the past, but you can change the next 5 minutes!

coolice 3 years ago

Damn...thats horrifying! I cant imagine that ever happening to anyone! 1.5 months in Coma.... Well, on a positive note, you can have a deadly catch phrase if in a situation... "whachu gonna do? Kill me? I've died already your gonna regret this son" (no offence meant, just trying to lighten up the spirit)

True say... I drink, but very casually. I have to give credit to my parents, they started offering me alcoholic beverages (wines and certain liquors)  ever since i was 12. As in, a taste here and there just to know whats what, and how its made, the history behind it. So unlike most kids who when turned 19 (yep, 19 to drink in Ontario if someones wondering) i never had the urge to go drink/ experiment/ binge.

There were many peers/friends back in highschool who held titles and nick names, "Mr. Scotch", "T.Shivers", "John-solute" (absolute vodka--> sounds like a bad porno name to me) etc, based on the amount of alcohol they consumed. Its how i got my nick name, cool-ice cause after i'm done with a drink (usually 1 or 2 at most) when i'm out with friends, i have ice and carbonated water... gives the impression i'm having an interesting cocktail. Best part... its how i've been saving up for my next upgrade, which will be soon!.

rapid1 3 years ago

Well mind you I don't really drink anymore either and of course this was June 10th 1993 when my accident happened.

rapid1 3 years ago

Also mind you my father had died a 1 year, 9 days, and about 1.5 hours before my accident. I kind of went off the deep end after he died in 1992. Self medication does not do much good.

As far as it goes coolice I take no offense, and I actually did have a guy pull a gun on me once, and aim it directly at my forehead (I am pretty sure it was a 357). He was trying to be a bad ass of course. I looked him cold in the eye, and said "either put away your toy or pray it kills me". He said damn, and his friends started laughing at him, then of course he started with the cool hand Luke and it wasn't loaded comments.

He also left rather quickly following that, I am of course 6'3" tall so maybe he felt threatened. When in all reality I do not what the hell you would expect someone to do in a situation like that, and did not know what the hell else to say anyway in it personally.

LOL: "Yeah I felt the same way when I got Dragon Age for Christmas two years ago and had to just look at the box. ". All you had to do was enable PhysX against your processor, which I did when I got it, and had no issues with the game. Of course that was against an i7 CPU to which may have had an effect on performance, as the i7 has 8 available (4 real 4 virtual) core's, and of course tri-channel memory which may have had some consequences.

I have an exam in less than 8 hours for which i am not at all prepared for hehe, but well, i know the content!

To be honest HH i was in this contest for the sake of the contest but about 10 days into it, me being able to communicate with the Editor in Cheif, and Managing Director (Dave and Marco) As well as most of the moderators on a personal level.... and for them to respond back to me, Its been a damn pleasure. I've never been able to do that on other websites... it feels too intimidating. I love the blend and approach you guys take (including the members)... for a guy like me, whose into computers, but not SOO much, its definitely more comfortable being a member here as all aspects of technology are covered.

I've also gotten to meet some very interesting and highly knowledgeable members in the forums,

from talking about the evolution of computers, current CPU designs, cooking on GPU's, Guns and american perception of owning guns, Speakers, computers, Apple/google taking over the world, oh i can go on and on, it has been an absolute pleasure! and i'm in this website for good!

Thanks for hosting such a great community and i hope to share it with new members as well as invite members from outside

I wish all those who entered the best of luck! and Congrats to the winner of this computer!!

Its going to be a beast i tall ya!

Does any one here program C++???

a question, how long does it take to master it??

coolice 3 years ago
No one can ever master c++... its never ending.... its constantly improving. the possibilities are endless.... you get better, then you challenege yourself more, and you get even better. But it can take a few months to learn the basics, then another few months to learn the advanced stuff, and another few months where you can utilize everything properly.
WKaye 3 years ago

gotcha ya!

so do you have a list of basics? and a list of advance? i just want to learn out to write c++ for the heck of it. and take classes on it later on when i get money to pay for it.

coolice 3 years ago
Google and youtube are your gods my friend.... search for answers within them and you will find the future fruits of your labour. Also... c++ is a little extreme, try something basic first, turing? object oriented programming... java? http://www.amazon.ca/Fundamentals-Programming-using-Edward-Currie/dp/1844804518 This book is a great starter to understand the basics. I used this in my first few years of uni when i wanted to learn programming from scratch. Helped a great deal. Theres prob an ebook around somewhere, just search for it, its probably like $10 Good luck on your quest for knowledge!

Very interesting piece of machinery. I wonder if creating these advance technology and computing equipment is like creating art? I mean, besides the technical stuff, do you see the creators of these motherboards and PC Cards strive for looks as well as performance? Bad news about the C240 - it won't fit in the Lian Li PC-50WB that CoolIT also sent.  They milled a mounting bracket to go from the two 140mm fans on top to the two 120mm fans on the C240 but there just isn't enough clearance without modding the entire thing and I'm not about to cut into a $200+ case.

There should be a Corsair 650D coming to me soon (hopefully) and that comes with pre-drilled holes to remove the top 200mm fan and replace it with two 120mm fans.

All bets are off after that.  If my motherboard can hold out and the temperatures stay down, I'm going to push for 4.8.

Well, it takes a lot of time to organize the criteria, follow through the users posts and submissions and come to a conclusion... I can sort of relate because i was on the organizing committee for a case competion at school.... we were going to announce the winners in 2 days.... but it took like 2 weeks simply because we were arguing between ourselves too much, trying to recollect thoughts, comparing contestants etc. Each had their own perspective and approach, so comparing them was pretty hard at times haha.

I'm assuming its very similar here as well.... hence my prediction, perhaps another couple of days.

rapid1 3 years ago

"we were going to announce the winners in 2 days.... but it took like 2 weeks" REF, coolice:

Well it never takes them that long. I definitely see your point though coolice. It usually take a few days (2-3) Dave and Marco seem to have it pretty much down to a science.

I am sure many of us could use an awesome masterpiece built by Marco the magnificent in his secret hide out, and will wait to see who is the lucky one. I would love to have it as I am sure everyone else would as well. However; it is decided by there "magical" decision making process. They have been doing this for several years now, and really I applaud them for being able to keep a contest series like this running for that amount of time.

On top of that they run a successful, and awesome website i might add, that is also a home on the web to many of us now. So if it takes a minute so be it :)

if you have experience with Capcom fighters, especially MvC2, I think you would enjoy MvC3, coolice. The chaos on the screen and fighting engine depth are top notch. This is game moves much much faster than Tekken so keep that in mind. Definitely give it a rent first, because even with my approval I couldn't guarantee the game would fit your tastes.

lol that was random. make sure it doesnt have rabies. or take it to the animal shelter.

coolice 3 years ago

LOL, he didnt really find a cat....

someone mentioned before and said that if they win this thing, they'll give it to someone who really wants/needs it.

soo, I said i'd take it because my current computer cant handle high volumes of data/ processing

Another member mentioned that they only have 512mg of ram and 75 gbs.

Since we were all being whiny giving petty excuses, including myself, as to why we deserve this hardware... realneil joked and gave a bunch of stupid/random reasons as to why he should get this machine.

Moral of the story, stop your whining and stop complaining about your current state, getting sympathy online aint that easy. Go and do something about it.

PS i'm hoping i'm on the right track Realneil?

WKaye 3 years ago

I dont want to throw my problems in the mix, but 512?? wow you should get an additional 2gb. i installed 2 ddr rams in my mom's desktop because it was running so slow...now it's running fine and my brother can play StarCraft: Brood War. Very old game, I am currently Hooked on Starcraft 2.

dodgers2213 3 years ago

yea, go to bed

realneil 3 years ago
its a beautiful picture though you've taken
I didn't take this one. It's too hard for me to get close to them because of my metal legs (crutches) and wheelchairs. They see me and my appearance freaks them out and they run. The lady who took this shot works at the Shenandoah National Park and knows where the Den is. It's a family of Bobcats that has a litter of kittens every year. They're more used to seeing her around, and she doesn't tell anyone where the den is, to protect them.

This year, I've made arrangements to loan her my best camera (higher quality-more megapixels) and the long lens I have for it, so she can get quality close up shots of the kittens periodically. She'll get better pictures, and I'll get vicarious access that I can't get in person. She has a good eye, and already knows where several Bear's dens are too.

We may publish a photo Calendar for 2012. (what would a good animal be to represent change in November?)

coolice 3 years ago
Wow! thats very nice of her, hiding the den. The reason i liked that picture a lot is because you can see the bobcat staring straight into the lens. Thanks for sharing the picture and I'm looking forward to the photo Calendar! I hope you do get to make it.

Hey; if I don't win (Which of course I seriously doubt), could I do a review for you guys on a Samsung Galaxy S 2, a Nexus S phone, an Atrix, or iPhone 5 (heck I will even do a windows 7 smart phone if you have one laying around? I really don't care much which carrier as long as it were Verizon, At&t, Sprint, MetroPCS or T-Mobile (I could get service from all of them locally (for testing purposes) of course)! I will review the hell out of it for several year's. Of course I will never win, but I need a smart phone badly.

Congratulations on your win Bud!

Ha-Ha! Whoo!

You're gonna like how that PC runs. The Vertex drive will make it real snappy, and the Raptor likewise.

Like all of HH's prizes, it's got a great parts list, that reads like someone expressing their 'inner builder'.

I wonder if there is gonna be another build log for this PC,...or is it already assembled?

I wish its a build log.... in fact, i would love to do the build log myself and post it online!!
