AMD Tweetup Event In SF: Radeon HD 5800s Up For Grabs

AMD asked us to help get the word out about an event taking place bascially right now at the St. Regis Hotel in San Fransico...

"Come join AMD Social Media mavens and some of our cooler executives for an informal and entertaining meet-up/tweet-up at the St. Regis Hotel.

Of course, it wouldn't be a fun meetup without complimentary cocktails and appetizers. Come down, hang out, have a beverage and geek out on the next generation of gadgets and technology that AMD has been cooking up.

We will have some signed copies of Chris Brogan and Julien Smith's New York TImes Best Selling book "Trust Agents" as well.  Hope to see you all there!"

We're told some Radeon HD 5800 series graphics cards will be up for grabs at the event, so get in your cars and head on over if you're in the area. You may even bump into Dave while you're there--at

It's now against the law to smoke there, even in public places.

But there are so many wildfires burning there that they get to inhale anyway.

California isn't so cool anymore, I was glad to leave it behind.

Yes, why can't it be in Toronto, after all, that's where ATI "was" headquartered.
