All Motorola Moto 360 Users Should Receive Delicious Lollipop Update Today

Last week, Google announced that a fresh update for Android Wear was on its way. The new software upgrades the base operating system of Android Wear from Android 4.4 KitKat to Android 5.0 Lollipop and brings with its faster navigation, new operating modes, and support for new watch faces built with the new Watch Face API.

Motorola began rolling out the Lollipop update to Moto 360 users on December 10 to a limited number of users (roughly 5 percent). By December 13, the update should have been available to 50 percent of Moto 360 users, and everyone with the device should have the update by the end of today.

The Lollipop update is officially based on Android 5.0.1, and carries the build number LWX48P and the internal designation of “Coral”.

If you don’t own a Moto 360, fear not. Google has promised that all Android Wear devices (ASUS ZenWatch, LG G Watch, LG G Watch R, Samsung Gear Live, and Sony SmartWatch 3) should have the Lollipop update by December 17.
