Thanksgiving And Your New HotHardware.com

This time of year is always busy for folks. And of course, never taking the easy route, we decided what the heck, let's make it ever busier for ourselves and launch a new engine with a fresh paint job for the Tech-charged web publication machine, we call HotHardware.com. It's a labor of love here for us you know, like a real family affair. Family and friends like you make this place tick; and for that, we are most thankful.

So I guess it's only fitting that we launched our new baby around the Thanksgiving holiday here in the US. Take a look around, kick the tires, goose the throttle a bit and test her out, but be gentle. We're still squashing a few bugs and wiping them off the windshield on the way to grandma's house for the big feed today, and we'll likely be squashing bugs for a few miles of road beyond that too.

There are lots of things to fix and functionality to add, of course. Our new site migration takes us to a cutting-edge ASP.NET MVC engine which will give us more than enough room to grow and legs to get us wherever we want to go from here. We could run a Wordpress blog package like so many but we do like the custom-built look and feel like a lot of you faithful readers do, with your tricked-out high performance PCs.

We've come a long way since our humble beginnings over 15 years ago -- that's a long time. The net was linked up with string and tin cans back then I think. Remember this?

It's abundantly clear that we on Team HotHardware have a lot to be thankful for--a place to share our geek views and opinions, great colleagues to work with that are like family and of course, you, our extended family.

Rest, relax, recharge and heck, read a little of the ol' HH to feed your inner geek, in addition to your appetite for large fowl species today. We're thankful for having you with us and hope you enjoy the new ride, because we're going to kick it in high gear in the months ahead and push the red line.

And to close, as always, we bring you Adam Sandler with his timeless classic, "The Thanksgiving Song"...  Happy Thanksgiving to all!
