Leaks Suggest Microsoft Lumia 1030 Will Feature 1080p Display, 50MP Camera

If you're wondering whether or not Microsoft will continue that tradition after purchasing Nokia's mobile unit, recent leaks suggest it will. Rumor has it the off-again-on-again Lumia 1030 will sport a 50-megapixel shooter, the highest yet for a Lumia phone.
Depending on the day, the Lumia 1030 has either been cancelled or put back on Microsoft's mobile roadmap. As of today, it's the latter, with supposed leaked photos of the upcoming device continuing to splash the web.

According to GSMArena, the Lumia 1030 will sport a 1080p AMOLED display, quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and an improved PureView camera with a short pulse LED flash (rather than xenon) and 50-megapixel sensor. The site said it's getting its information from a "company insider," so make of that what you will.
Other reports also peg the phone as having a 50MP shooter, one of which points to Toshiba as the one that will manufacture the sensor. We've also seen reports that the Lumia 1030 will not use a mechanical shutter like the Lumia 1020 did.
